We survived Cam's first week in ground school for the Jet, 5 more weeks to go! Phew. He only gets to come home on the weekends which means I am taking care of everything at home & Maverik Monday-Friday 24 hrs a day. We miss him lots. I try and be as supportive to him as I possibly can while he is gone in training. He is learning so much important information and needs to be able to focus fully on it. I'm not gonna lie it kinda sucks when hes gone every single day during the week. When he is home I want him all to myself, and that doesn't always end up being the case. I know, selfish right? Maverik gets sooo excited when his daddy gets home! He rubs his own chest in excitement when he comes walking in the door and gives lots of hugs and kisses. Those two are twins, I swear. I'm glad, because they are both so handsome. ;)
This weekend when Cam came home we didn't do anything too exciting but enjoyed being together. Saturday we went to the office and I decorated for Valentine's Day & Cam was able to get a few things done that he needed to do. Mav hung out while we worked, which he doesn't mind because Papa has some pretty sweet toys at the office. Mav also LOVES seeing the tree frogs whenever we are there, their are 5!. It's so fun for him! After we finished up at the office we went out to lunch with Papa for some Chinese food. Yummy! We then headed over to Cam's parents house to pick up a few things we left there over the holiday. Maverik always loves spending time with Grandma at her house. That night after we put Maverik down to sleep for the night we got ready and headed over to our super amazing apartment gym & worked out for an hour. Holy smokes that felt amazing!!! I'm not even sore....weird. (maybe I didn't push myself enough) No, I definitely was sweatin up a storm in there. Sunday we went to church, then came home and took a nice long family nap. Ahhh they are my favorite!! Poor Cam though, he doesn't do well when it's actually time to go to sleep for the night. Me on the other hand have no problem ;) I loooove my sleep. Cam left around 8pm Sunday night and headed back to his Hotel in Salt Lake City. I did not want him to leave! He's so close to home, I might have to "sneak" up there one of these weeks and bring him some dinner. I say "sneak" because like I said he needs all the time he has there to study and focus on what he is learning. I'm sure he wouldn't complain over a delicious home cooked meal ;).
