Where in the world does the time go!!?? My Maverik is almost a year and a half already. Nooo. Slow down little guy. I love him so dang much. To me, he is perfect. (obviously) He was such a happy baby and even more of a happy toddler. What? I have a TODDLER!?? I swear he was just barely a newborn. Anyways, he is amazing in every way. Super funny, smart, entertaining, full of life, happy, adorable, loveable, sweet, loves all animals,loves bath time, playing in the snow, reading his books, knows what he wants and makes my every days with him filled with pure love and joy. I can't get enough of him.
He knows quite a bit of sign language now, which we all love because he can communicate even though he can't "talk" much. It is great. I try and teach him new words everyday. He is just like a little sponge, soaking everything in. Smart cookie!
We have this bird that my mom gave me (that I love) on top of our microwave and at least 30 million times a day Maverik says "biiirrr" (bird) and points to it, and won't stop until I grab it for him. All he does with it is gives him a kiss on his long pointy beak or the bottom of his feet. MMMMMwwwwwaaaahhhh he says, every time. Never gets old. He is constantly kissing his dogs or his fake little people animals. SO cute!
It's been a little while now, but he will randomly come up to me or Cam and give us hugs and kisses too and will lean his cute little head on my shoulder and say "aawwww" like he thinks I'm cute or sweet or something. I guess he gets it from me because whenever something is cute, or sweet, or soft, or if I'm hugging him I say it too. What a sweetheart he is! He also makes the BEST facial expressions I've ever seen (I think it's a Howell thing).
